Her mother Lana is a bank manager as is her father Michael Trachtenberg is a fiber-optics engineer. Michelle Trachtenberg began her career at a young age. Her appearances in film and commercials. Most famously, she was known for portraying Dawn Summers on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Michelle Trachtenberg, along with her older twin sister Irene was raised at Sheepshead Bay in Brooklyn. The school she attended was the junior high school at The Bay Academy for the Arts and Sciences. Then she attended Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, California. Trachtenberg sings in Russian. Trachtenberg has won numerous awards, including she was awarded the Young Artist Award at the Sarasota Film Festival and nominations for Teen Choice Award and Saturn Award.
