Her father is an Australian Lawyer, James Ernest Curtis Smith. Her father married Ojales at the age of 22 in 1982. Jasmine the younger sister performs as an actress. On their father's side they were half-sisters with a name Clare who died in 2007 of a heart disease when she was four months old.
