Scarlett Johansson (born November 22 1984 New York City New York, U.S.) American actress and singer whose acting range earned her popular acclaim across many styles from period dramas to thriller and action adventure. Johansson was born in New York City, and lived there with her father who was an architect and her mother, a producer. Hunter, her twin brother and She were both the youngest out of a family of four. As a young girl of just 7 years old, she began auditioning for television commercials. To improve her acting skills, she joined classes at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Manhattan and then the Professional Children's School. At the age of eight old, Johansson appeared alongside Ethan Hawke as Sophistry in Off-Broadway productions. When she was nine she made her acting debut in Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson was next seen in Just Cause (1995), before making her big break in the film Manny & Lo - a tale about two sisters who are orphans who are able to escape. The Horse Whisperer (2000) where she was an teen with a defect caused by an accident, earned an acclaim from critics. In Ghost World 2001 (as the cynical teenage outcast Rebecca), Johansson gained even more recognition. Her most well-known role is being the character Nell Jones (on CBS' popular show NCIS Los Angeles). She's among the principal characters. She's also an accomplished stage performer. Her fame is based on her outstanding roles in stage plays like Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith entered the world of entertainment when she was very young. When she was a kid, she was attracted to acting. Smith landed the first of many acting jobs at the tender age of six. She was a part of a television commercial for Dannon yogurt. Similar to numerous young actresses, she began her professional career in the theatre. She took part in different projects in the USA as she made her debut on stage. She studied at in the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory, part of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
